Just as an architect draws a blueprint to ensure a successful build, Dr Espino digitally plans the placement of implants in a 3D virtual model of the patient.
Once an implant is digitally placed in the 3D imaging and design software, a surgical guide is 3D printed to direct the placement of the implant exactly in the planned position. This allows for the least invasive placement of the implant with minimal to no incision of gum tissue leading to less post-op discomfort. This also ensures significantly higher success rates and drastically minimizes any risk of damage to vital surrounding structures such as nerves and sinuses.
