Derek R. Espino

D.M.D.

Dr. Espino received his Doctorate in Dental Medicine from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine in 2011 and two Bachelor of Science degrees in microbiology and zoology from the University of Florida in 2007.

Since graduating from dental school, Dr. Espino has continued to fine-tune his dental education in the areas of cosmetic and restorative dentistry through the completion of numerous courses in dental laser and digital technology. He is now the Regional Key Opinion Leader in the state of Florida for the all tissue laser Solea and gives lectures on the latest techniques in laser dentistry. He also gives lectures and training in digital dentistry and its applications with implant placement and cosmetic restorative procedures.

Dr. Espino maintains memberships in professional organizations, including the American Dental Association (ADA), Florida Dental Association (fda), and West Coast District Dental Association (WCDDA).

Dr. Espino is married and is the father of triplets: Natalie, Oliver, and James. His interests outside of the dental profession include fishing, boating, and traveling with his family.
